Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-17

Nepogano ("the app", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What data we collect

Email address: when you sign up with email, Google, or Apple, used for authentication.

Name and profile photo: if you sign in with Google, this data may be provided by Google. If you sign in with Apple, your name may be provided by Apple, only if you shared it on first sign-in.

Content you create: your daily mood ratings and the text notes attached to them.

How we use your data

Data is used solely to run the app: authentication, and storing and displaying your personal check-in history. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell or share it with third parties, except for the infrastructure providers required to run the service (Supabase: database and authentication; Google, Apple: OAuth sign-in).

Private by default

By default, your entries are visible only to you and the people you've added as friends. They can see the mood and note for a day after attempting to guess it. Entries never leave the app unless you choose to share a day card through the system share sheet.

Data storage

Data is stored on Supabase's servers, with connections encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app: menu (⋮) on the home screen → "Delete account". Data is deleted immediately and irreversibly. You can also email review.nepogano@gmail.com.
